Chris' Story
Chris is quite a character!
Within minutes of meeting you, he’ll turn your name into a rhyme or a witty phrase! Name a date since 1970 and Chris can tell you what day of the week it was – without fail!
This young man has been working as the C.C.O. (Chief Clean Officer) at the Greenway Express Carwash on South Tryon Street for over two years. The owner of Greenway, Lance Eubanks, often remarks that Chris is one of the most dependable, responsible and conscientious employees he’s ever had. Lance had attended InReach’s fall fundraising event, The Dream Maker luncheon, and heard about our organization’s work in helping connect folks with special needs with businesses that need great employees. Our staff made a match with Chris and Lance and the rest is history!
Chris even won InReach’s “Housekeeping Award” at our annual awards banquet as he even keeps his place as neat as a pin!
Living in an InReach residence right down the street from the carwash, Chris takes the bus to and from work and is always “Mr. Punctual”. A workout fanatic, Chris can be seen pumping iron at the YMCA several times a week where he loves to socialize and meet new people.
We are all so very proud of Chris and his many accomplishments! He has worked hard to get where he is today – living on his own, holding down a job, enjoying his friends, and living an incredibly independent life.
Get out to Greenway and meet this guy! He’ll make sure you’ve got a clean car and a smile on your face!
