Position: Employment Specialist - Charlotte

Description: Full-Time position with benefits.  The candidate for this position will be supporting multiple customers, one of whom works with dogs.  Therefore candidate must be comfortable working with large and small dogs. The Employment Specialist will also assist other adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities in searching for jobs, following up on job leads and network with employers. Position involves assisting individuals with selecting, getting and maintaining their job of choice by supporting them with the application process, interviews and on the job training.  

Qualifications: Ideal candidate will have one year Supported Employment/Job Coach experience working with Special Populations (preferred). Must have High School diploma or GED, be willing to provide customer transportation using their personal vehicle, maintain safe driving record, experience working with I/DD population.

Location: Charlotte

Schedule: Typically, Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm but may require some evening and weekend hours as needed by customers.
