Position: Employment Specialist - Charlotte

Description: Part-Time employee position.  The Employment Specialist assists adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities in searching for jobs, following up on job leads and network with employers. Additional duties involve assisting customers with selecting, getting and maintaining their job of choice by supporting them with the application process, interviews and on the job training.  Employment Specialist will also support individuals in other Vocational services to seek, train and maintain employment.

Qualifications: One year Supported Employment/Job Coach experience working with Special Populations preferred. High school diploma or GED, be willing to provide customer transportation using their personal vehicle, maintain safe driving record, experience working with I/DD population.  

Location: Charlotte

Schedule: 15-25 hours per week.  Typically Mon-Fri between 8:30am-4:30pm but may require some evening and weekend hours as needed by customers.

Rate: $14 per hour
