Who We Are
InReach provides residential and community supports and services for children and adults with developmental and other disabilities in residential and community settings.
This year, InReach will serve approximately 1,000 people – helping these individuals develop important life skills such as managing money, shopping for groceries, accessing transportation and community resources, and finding and maintaining employment. We also help people engage in the activities that they enjoy, such as participating in church communities, volunteering for service projects, planning vacations and attending fitness, art and music classes.
The majority of the people we serve live in Mecklenburg County, but we are providing some services in surrounding counties. For example, InReach provides Community Guide Services in five neighboring counties (Rowan, Davidson, Union, Stanly and Cabarrus). This program helps individuals with developmental disabilities locate and coordinate community resources to enable them to increase their self-sufficiency.
