Project Search Employment Specialist (P/T) The Project Search Employment Specialist provides high quality job coaching, maximizes self determination and supports the efforts of individuals served by assisting in all phases of supported employment and Project search services including job searching,  placement and on the job training.  Primary job duties include: advocating for individual rights;  assessing customer needs, skills, and weaknesses to increase opportunity for employment;  assisting and supporting customers with application process, job interviews, and new hire orientation;  supporting classroom teacher, host businesses, and students during internship rotations.  Train Project Search Students at Internship. This position requires a flexible schedule.


Alternative Family Living (AFL) Providers InReach is currently in search of AFL Providers to provide a home that is supportive, culturally normal residential environment that meets the physical, emotional and developmental needs of the customer. Position Type: Contractor Required: High School Diploma or GED, Valid driver's license, Clear Criminal Background, Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

DSP-CO-OM- 2 Part time positions available working with a 11 year old female providing In Home Skill Building, Personal Care, and Respite. Position requires DSP to work Monday, Tuesday 2:45pm-7:15, Wednesday 5:30pm-8:30, Thursday 2:45pm-7:15pm, Friday 2:45pm, Saturday 8:30-12:30pm, and Sunday some Occasional Respite. CNA Skills preferred but not required.  Pay: $10-$15/ Hour  Location: Union County  Annaberg Lane Monroe, NC  Required: High school diploma or Equivalent(GED) Valid driver’s license Clear Criminal Background

Group Home Manager (Greywood) Full-time live-in position in a male group home with 5 customers.  Responsibilities include the overall operation of the group home, as well as enhancing the lives of individuals with Developmental Disabilities.  Job duties include: teaching independent living skills, supporting individual choice, managing monthly household budget, and completing required documentation.  Qualifications: HS Diploma/GED, 1 year of supervisory experience, nursing/CNA experience preferred, human services experience preferred, valid driver’s license and clear criminal background.  Shift: Sunday evening to Friday evening with weekends off.   Salary: $31-34k annually with room and board provided (private apartment, home phone, heat/ac, basic cable, and food). Overall compensation package equivalent to $41,800 annually.  Benefits include paid sick, vacation, and holiday leave, 401K, health insurance.

Group Homes Program Manager (FT) Responsible for managing group home operations by supervising all group home staff and customer interactions. Monitors the overall function of 4 group homes. Develops and oversees the implementation of Person Centered Plans.  Interviews and screens new customers, coordinates customer services, and communicates with family members and guardians.  Maintains accurate records; collects, compiles, and evaluates data. Responds to emergencies; carries a pager/cell phone and schedules relief as necessary.  Qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree, Qualified Professional status (Developmental Disabilities), valid driver’s license/safe driving record.

(DSP-CB-CO Part- Time position is in the East Blvd area working with a 17 year old male. This position is every other weekend with a combination of 10 hours per day for Home & Community Supports$15, and Personal care$10. Must have a High school Diploma/ GED and Clear Driving record.

DSP-CO-TB Part Time ($15/$10)Position in the Mint Hill area providing Home & Community Supports and Personal Care to a 10 year old male. This position will work after school and some weekends. Must have a High school Diploma/ GED and Clear Driving record.

DSP-CO-SS $10-$15/HR Full-Time Position to provide services for a 27 year old male, in the Union County area. Candidate must be able to support the customer needs in Skill building, Community Networking, banking, budgeting, social skills, Community activities, as well as provide occasional Respite services. Candidate must have a HS Diploma/GED, valid Driver’s License and clear criminal record..

Part-Time Relief Manager  This part-time position is responsible for providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting. Shift: Monday through Friday 9am-2pm, with some variation possible. Pay is $9/hr. Duties include supporting 3-6 females or males with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and community outings. Applicant must have High School Diploma/GED, valid Driver’s License, and a clear criminal background. Experience in Human Services preferred.

Manager’s Assistant This entry-level part-time position is responsible for providing support to the Group Home Manager. 10- 20 hours per week and pay is $8/hr. Work hours are Monday- Thursday evenings around 5pm-9pm with some flexibility.  Duties include supporting 3-6 females or males with daily living skills. Applicant must have High School Diploma/GED, valid Driver’s License, clear criminal background, and evening availability.

DSP-LT-CO-Part Time Position working with a 9 year old male in Monroe close to SPCC/ Union Campus. DSP will provide Skill Building, Respite, Community Networking on Wednesday 3-4 hours after school and Saturdays 6 hours. Must have a High school Diploma/ GED and Clear Driving record.

Weekend Relief Manager This part-time position is responsible for providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting. Shift: Friday 6pm- Sunday 6pm, every other weekend with overnights required. Pay is $9/hr. Duties include supporting 3-6 females or males with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and community outings. Applicant must have High School Diploma/GED, valid driver’s License, and a clear criminal background. Experience in Human Services preferred.
